Nick Dazzo
Managing Director, Head of Optimization
Nick Dazzo is the Head of Optimization at Spearmint Energy, where he focuses on contracting for battery offtake and associated risk management activity. Previously, he founded Alpha Power Advisers, an energy-focused risk management firm, and before that was head of the client energy derivatives business of Koch Supply & Trading, LP, where he traded across the oil and refined products, natural gas, NGLs, petrochemicals, and ethanol markets. Earlier in his career, Nick served as an energy economist and strategist with J.P. Morgan. He holds an M.A. in Economics from New York University and a B.A. in Geology from Hamilton College.
